Feature to Identify Locked Artifacts in Modules with Aging Details

We have observed that artifacts in DNG often get locked for various reasons such as:

  • Manual locking where users forget to unlock
  • Internet disconnections during editing
  • Server restarts occurring mid-edit
  • Performance-related issues

These locked artifacts cause operational delays since unlocking them requires contacting users with appropriate permissions, which can be time-consuming.

To improve the workflow and operational efficiency, we would like to request a feature or an API that can:

  • Identify and list all artifacts currently locked within a specific module
  • Display the duration (aging) of the lock in days/hours
  • Enable integration into a dashboard widget for real-time visibility
