Workflow state of a requirement should imapct the link validity status

In Version 7.1, when an artifact’s Workflow state is updated, Link Validity is no longer affected. We would like IBM to consider reverting this functionality to its previous behavior, where changes to the Workflow state did impact Link Validity.

Since an artifact’s state is an attribute, any modification to it should impact the Link Validity. This level of visibility is especially useful when multiple tools within the ELM environment are integrated. For example, if a DNG artifact moves from the “Approved” state back to “Working,” it may indicate that the artifact is no longer part of the ETM test scope for a specific release.
