Allow selecting more than 200 artifacts in DOORS Next (configurable limit)

Currently, DOORS Next limits the number of artifacts that can be selected at once (200) in the web UI.

In real-world projects, especially in regulated or large-scale environments, it is very common to work with modules containing hundreds or thousands of artifacts. Having to split actions like delete artifacts into multiple batches of 200 artifacts introduces unnecessary manual effort, increases the risk of inconsistencies, and slows down common workflows.

Proposed Enhancement
Provide the ability to select more than 200 artifacts in DOORS Next. Ideally, this limit should be configurable by an administrator, for example via a server-side property or advanced configuration setting.

This would allow organizations to:

  • Increase the limit according to their infrastructure capacity.
  • Accept the performance or risk trade-offs consciously.
  • Keep the default value unchanged for customers who prefer the current behavior.

Benefits

  • Improved productivity for bulk operations.
  • Reduced manual work and error risk.
  • Better support for large-scale and enterprise use cases.
  • Flexibility for administrators to balance performance vs. usability.

Additional Notes
The default limit could remain at 200 to preserve current behavior, with clear documentation warning administrators about potential performance implications when increasing the limit.
