Automatic filtering with new criteria independent of collapsed or expanded mode

When using collapsed filter, a newly added filter criteria is immediately applied and the content is filtered.

When using expanded mode, a user has to always click the additional "apply" button.

Please enhance the behavior in expanded mode to reduce the number of necessary clicks to apply a filter: automatically apply the changed filter criteria at latest when closing the "add new filter" popup menu (it may not be necessary to apply it with every "add" of a new filter criteria)

Often you anyway specify more complex filters step by step and always look at the intermediate results before adding the next filter criteria.

Maybe exception (keeping "apply" button) when editing filter in separate window. In this case it feels little more "natural" to have a separate "apply" activity, rather than only in the expanded filter where the button is even outside of the filter section

In addition, you should allow users to open the filter in new window directly from collapsed mode (without the need to first expand the filter section)
