Views: Read Only User Permissions

Currently, Views which are visible to a User can be modified by the User, even Views created by SuperUsers when the View is made visible to Users otherwise unable to Create the View.

Issue: Views are the most convenient and in some cases, only practicable means to configure the Attributes to be displayed when they differ between Modules for custom reporting or editing purposes; there needs to be a mechanism to protect Views used for this purpose from accidental change.

Solution:

  1. Bar editing of Views the User cannot otherwise create - i.e. Permission to Create needs to change to Permission to Create OR Edit (e.g. In the Permissions, we've Roles defined where creating Shared Views is Denied, but Creating Private Views is Permitted; If a Super User creates a Shared View, Users of the lesser Role Denied from Creating Shared Views would be Denied the ability to Edit and Save changes to a Shared View, but retain the ability to do so with Private Views as they were Permitted to Create them)
  2. Add a 2nd Permissions Option to separately manage Read vs Write operations against the Views.
