Shape the future of IBM!

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

Currently you can view some attributes of the linked requirement except if that linked requirement is on a different server. We need to see the attribute values for linked requirements even if on a different server.

The current behavior does not provide the user with consistent behavior.  We have the outgoing link configured so that we can see the state of the requirement that is linked. This isnt capability is very useful but in the current implementation it is only useful sometimes since we have 3 servers in which our requirements could be located on.  There are also other features we use that do not work across servers such as searching all components in a configuration, there is not warning that only the components on the current server will be searched.  The feature is useless when we have mutiple servers.  Another is linking requirements if you are linking to a component on another server.  The behavior is not user friendly in this case because it is different behavior and users have to understand the architecture of DNG to know if they need to select the button for different server.
