Download Reports and ReqIF Exports Automatically When Run

We've automated workflows for running Report Builder reports. However, when the scheduled report is run, a user still has to log into Jazz to download the report. We are requesting that IBM implement the ability to email the report to the requestor or even better, place the report at a a designated file location accessible on the operating system.

NOTE: A similar need exists for ReqIF exports, whereby ReqIFs are generated but still need to be downloaded as a separate step.

    As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and based on our understanding, this idea has issues and is not accepted. I would like to list a few of them:
    * JRS team had a discussion with JRS customers on how to implement sharing scheduled reports a few years back. The majority agreed that the scheduled report should not be attached to the email since the email recipient might not have the necessary permission to view the report data. Therefore, JRS only provides a notification report that is generated, and the user needs to log in to view the generated report.
    * You could create a cron job to download all scheduled generated reports. If you need assistance, I suggest contacting IBM Support.
    * The idea should focus on one request per product. Your request includes ideas for multiple requests across multiple products. Please ensure to have one request per product in the future.

    Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository and you can request to reopen the idea after this time. We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.
