Give the GC Ids a unique and clearly understandable name

When generating LQE reports on Global Configuration (or Global Component), two attributes both labeled “ID” appear in the filter options and report results. This creates confusion, as it is unclear which represents the Global Configuration ID visible in the UI. There is also no additional help menu available that explains which ID to take.

Upon review, IBM Support clarified that:

  • oslc:shortId → Global Configuration ID (OSLC vocabulary)
  • dcterms:identifier → UUID of the Global Configuration (DCTERMS vocabulary)

Both terms are distinct and technically correct, but they share the same human-readable label “ID”, which originates from different vocabularies outside the application’s control.

To improve the usability and avoid confusion, please update the user interface to show a unique name for each ID instead of the duplicate "ID" labels. This would allow report builders to clearly distinguish between attributes and select the correct one for filtering and reporting.

If you prefer to show the actual identifiers (e.g. oslc:shortId and dcterms:identifier) as mentioned in the case, please add the help menu to give some more information like "this is the ID a user can see in the GC UI" for the oslc:shortId.
