Enrich report parameterization for custom SPARQL queries

In the current environment for custom SPARQL queries it is possible to filter in two ways: - Filter on each column of the result set - Using $parameter$ to create a dynamic filter With this it is possible to provide basic text filter features. However if I want to provide a date filter or e.g. based on an enumeration, it is not possible to create with the current provided features. With this feature I could create more user friendly reports, which increases the user acceptance of this product in our company. However there seems to be advanced functionality available for the data warehouse SQL queries (https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/FilterAnnotation). Since the LQE is (or seems to be) the future technology, where reporting is based on, we should have such a feature also for SPARQL. Even if we want to, we cannot fall back to data warehouse, since we use configuration enabled project areas as a company developing product lines. Please be aware, that we opened several cases because we reached the limitation of the auto-generated SPARQL queries, such as aggregating test results in a project context individually or just because more complex queries result in a huge performance degradation.

, SPARQL queries are based on Apache Jena technology and the JRS team already made the decision to move away from this technology. JRS team is working on a replacement based on a relational database that would allow the usage of SQL in the future. SQL is more mature and it should already provide such functionality. Therefore, this request is closed.
