Test Builder view for a Test Suite

Project Teams in our company are utilizing Test Suites to group Test Cases that are all using one Test Procedure. The step is that they have one Test Case to one Test Script and all the Test Cases are assigned to one Test Suite. When running the Test Suite, they generate a Test Suite Execution Record (TSER) to execute the steps in order. The execution only allows for one Test Case to be viewed at a time.

When executing a TSER, our project teams want to see a sequential ordering of all Test Script Steps located in the Test Suite.

It's really difficult to see this idea dropped off of consideration, despite it being well voted for and something that our enterprise didn't think of but would love to have.

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and based on our understanding, it does not fit our near-term plans. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository.  We value your feedback and thank you for allowing us to partner with you in developing our products.

Other customers have provided similar scenarios where they desire a method to efficiently view and modify a complete test suite to insure completeness and correctness of entire suite. The overall test suite stitches together the test cases and associated test scripts down to the step level to insure proper hand off between test cases post and pre-conditions. Expanding the Test Builder interface page to support a users' ability to view, modify, and add individual test elements down to the Test Script step level efficiently (minimal number of clicks) would be of great benefit to the team developing and reviewing the Test Suite.
