Suspect Test Result Feature Shall trigger also if a New Version of a Test Cases or an Old Version of a Test Result Is Merged

In ETM 7.0.1 a new property is added to alert the user for potentially outdated test results.
Once the property is selected, a test case execution record is displayed with Suspect Result status when the test case or test script is modified after the last run.
As this feature is very valuable for us, we want to ensure that it fits our needs when it is released with ETM 7.0.1.

As part of the review process, we strive to be transparent about our intentions with each enhancement suggestion. The IBM Engineering team has carefully reviewed this idea, and based on our understanding, it does not fit our near-term plans. Although we are closing this request, it will be kept in IBM's ideas repository.

The feature as introduce in the 7.0.1 Version compares the modification dates of the Test Case and Test Result to decide if a Test Case was changed after it was run.

This does not work for configuration management enabled environments. That is we can construct cases (with merging) where the date comparison suggest that the Test Result is valid for a test case although it was changed.
