It is needed to see links to different versions of the same identifier at the same time

Hi,


When we clone a TestCase A from component A to have a new TestCase A in component B with all the same properties, including the already created links, the identifier of the TestCase is maintained. However, we have noticed that when we try to resolve all the links from the same RM module only one of the two created links is shown because only one version of the testcase can be resolved as they are different versions of the same identifier. We have also noticed that the shown link is the first found in the global configuration.


We need to clone some QM components and we need to see all the links at the same time, therefore, we suggest two options:

  • RM application could show the links to different versions of the same identifier

  • During the clonation proccess, the option to assign a new identifier could be provided.
