Way to store all data of TC and TestScript used for each TCR

Hi,

I m not sure about the selected category, it's related to TCR / Reporting.

Use case:

  • We have a test "TC 01" with :
    •  An attribut "TC indice" set to "A"
    • A TestScript with a step 1 "Open Google.fr"
  • We execute this TC/TS (using a TCER) to create a TCR, we name it "indice A"
  • Now we edit our TC/TS :
    • Attribut "TC indice" set to "B"
    • A TestScript with a step 1 "Open Google.com"
  • We execute this TC/TS (using a TCER) to create a TCR, we name it "indice B"
  • Now if we request (with JRS, RPE , or jumping artefact from artefact) TCR "indice B", we found that the TC/TS that was used was "TC 01" with attribut "indice" set to B
  • The issue is when we request TCR "indice A", since it's a link to the testcase, we will find that used TC/TS was also "TC 01" with attribut "indice" set to B...

We need a way to retrieve TC/TS data a time of TCR execution .

Today, the only way we have is too used Baseline, we are not satisfied by this solution: Our componants can have 1k TC .... this mean nearly as many baseline as TC/TS multiplied by number of version.

Instead of using an attribute for "TC indice" have you look at the option to use an execution variable?
