REST returned URI for testcases MUST be use consistently regardless if generated with an External ID

When testcases are created via the GUI then the external identifier is not set. When you query the rest API for a testcase you would get something like

Where the number at the end of the identifier is the WebId.

This is the URI that is used DOORS Next when looking at validatedBy Link from DOORS.


If a testcase is imported using the Excel importer and an external ID is specified then the REST api now returns the identifier in a different format

This however does not match what a link from DN->TC would return.

This is inconsistent and makes matching links very difficult as to determine if the two links point to the same object you have to open both objects and compare them. The URI is supposed to be unique and you should be able to to compare the two URI to determine that they are the same object.

Please make the link that is used in OSLC linking the same as the REST URI returned from the ETM API.
