Custom categories not exported in offline execution

Problem Description

When a custom category is configured as required for Test Case Results, executing tests in offline mode generates an .rqms file that cannot be imported back into Engineering Test Management (ETM). During the import process, the API returns a Bad Request error and the Test Case Result is not created.

Expected Result: The .rqms file imports successfully. The Test Case Result is created without errors. Required category values are correctly preserved or handled during the offline execution and import process.

Actual Result: The import fails with the following error: "An error occurred while saving the EXECUTIONRESULT type artifact as it is missing the required category value for the Req_category category. The category value is either invalid or deleted."

As a result: The Test Case Result is not created, and the offline execution data cannot be successfully imported into ETM.

Impact Customers:  who use required custom categories for Test Case Results are unable to reliably use the offline execution workflow, since the generated .rqms files cannot be imported successfully when the required category value is not included or recognized during processing.
