Urgent enhancement request — Automatic task reminder feature in Issues Board

Dear Envizi Product Team,

We would like to propose an enhancement to the Issues Board functionality to improve task management efficiency.

Currently, Issues Board does not provide automatic reminder notifications when a task’s due date is approaching or when it has passed. As a result, users must manage reminders manually, which can become resource‑intensive when dealing with large volumes of tasks.

Implementing an automatic reminder mechanism, similar to what is available in SRM (Sustainability Reporting Manager), would streamline operations and reduce the risk of overdue tasks. Specifically, the following capabilities are proposed:

Automatic notification to task assignees as the due date approaches

Automatic notification to task assignees and administrators once the due date has passed

In addition, most competing task management and ESG reporting systems provide such automatic reminders as part of their standard feature set. Introducing a similar capability within Envizi would help align with industry standards and further enhance user experience and system usability.

We believe this enhancement would contribute to more proactive task tracking, improved visibility of deadlines, and overall operational efficiency.
