Visibility into exact accrual and proxy calculations at the data point level needed

Climate data undergoes rigorous validation by external auditors. Part of that process involves random sampling and re-calculating of accrued and proxied data. Due to the complexity of the algorithm for both the accrual and proxy calculations we have been unable to show how to re-calculate the numbers.  Auditors are looking for details on what data flows into each accrued/proxied value and if a data point was excluded the reason behind it (ie: over the 30% threshold for weighted average accrual). 

We would request that functionality be built into Envizi so that we can view these calculations either directly in the system or through a downloadable report. 

NOTE - Proxied data is data for when there is no data at all for an account. We use virtual accounts and have created proxy groups of sites with similar characteristics/regional location that feed into the calculation that is then applied to the accounts with missing data.

    Thank you for raising this idea. We are working on an in-platform audit assistant to show data lineage of ESG metrics in the platform and expect this to cover values that have been calculated via both accruals and virtual data rules. We expect the assistant to be released later this year and will update this idea when we have committed this to a release quarter on the roadmap.
