Training and Expanded Documentation Needed for Data Configuration Tab Refresh

IBM Envizi recently released a refresh to the Data Configuration tab, which includes a new Data Types page for viewing and configuring data types, as well as a new account style wizard for creating and managing organization account styles. While these updates appear to offer significant functionality enhancements, the current release lacks sufficient training materials and comprehensive documentation to support effective adoption and utilization of these features. The existing release notifications direct users to generic resources such as "Data Types" links and brief "feature tour" references, but these do not provide adequate guidance for understanding the full scope of the new functionality or implementing it effectively within organizational workflows. System administrators and partner users are left without clear instruction on how to navigate the refreshed interface, understand the implications of configuration changes, or leverage the new capabilities to their full potential. This documentation gap creates uncertainty around proper usage and increases the risk of misconfiguration, which could impact data quality and reporting accuracy.

Comprehensive training and expanded documentation for the Data Configuration refresh would provide substantial value to the Envizi user community by enabling system administrators to confidently configure data types and account styles, ensuring organizational data structures are set up correctly from the outset. Enhanced training materials would reduce the time required for troubleshooting, decrease support inquiries, and allow organizations to maximize their return on investment in the Envizi platform by fully utilizing available capabilities. All system administrators who are responsible for configuring and maintaining their organization's Envizi environment would benefit significantly, as would partner users and implementation consultants who work across multiple client organizations and require in-depth knowledge of the platform's configuration capabilities to effectively design and deploy Envizi solutions. Without adequate training resources, users face a steep learning curve, partners face challenges in delivering consistent implementations, and the broader Envizi community cannot fully leverage the valuable enhancements that this refresh provides.

Hi @Guest - while we are planning to add additional enablement material to seismic that will be sales focused. I'm happy to run some training sessions on the data configuration area of the platform for your administrator team. Please reach out to me at michael.dunbar@ibm.com and we'll set up some sessions (we can record these and hopefully turn them into some enhanced training materials that can be shared later on).
