Enable Market-Based Scope 2 Calculation for Custom Data Types

For Scope 2 GHG accounting, both location-based and market-based calculations are required.

In Envizi, market-based Scope 2 calculation is currently available only for limited data types. For example, it can be applied to standard data types such as Electricity and some heat-related data types, but it cannot be applied to custom data types.

Now that users can create their own data types, it is expected that additional Scope 2 data types will be needed based on different business scenarios.

To make Envizi more flexible and better able to support various reporting requirements, this limitation should be removed. We would like Envizi to support market-based Scope 2 calculation for custom data types as well.

(Notes)
I would like to use data types other than Electricity for two reasons:

1. To control the applied factors by combining Data Type and Sub Type
I would like to assign sub-types and control which factor is applied based on the combination of Data Type and Sub Type. Since sub-types cannot be added to the standard Data Type, I am creating custom data types.

2. To analyze data by Data Type in Power Report
Due to local regulatory requirements in Japan, electricity must be classified into categories such as self-generated electricity, self-wheeled electricity, and sold electricity. To aggregate these categories, I need to create custom data types and summarize account-level native units and CO2 emissions across multiple locations.
