Automatically Populate Start and End Period in Data Capture from Issue Details

Description:
When a user clicks the Data Capture button from Issue Details, the From Date and To Date in Issue Details are not automatically populated into the Start Period and End Period fields on the Data Capture screen. As a result, users must enter these dates manually.

For business users, this is confusing. When they start Data Capture from Issue Details, they naturally expect the same date range to be used. The current behavior is not intuitive.

In addition, from an issue administrator’s perspective, this behavior creates a risk that Data Capture may be performed for a different period than the one defined in the issue. This may affect data quality and consistency.

Requested enhancement:
When Data Capture is launched from Issue Details, automatically populate the Start Period and End Period fields on the Data Capture screen with the From Date and To Date from Issue Details.

Because this change may affect organizations that already use Issue-based Data Capture, it would be helpful to provide an Organization Preference setting that allows customers to opt out of this behavior.
