This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hello! After reviewing this request, we've decided not to consider this at this time.
The feature requested is already supported in generic response fields which are used in managed frameworks like TCFD that don't require strict data types. In TCFD, each question includes a rich-text response field where users can format their responses freely, including adding tables.
In contrast, form-based frameworks like ESRS use fields with specific data types, in alignment with what the standard setters typically require eg. narrative, enumeration, number, etc., thus leaving little room for flexibility to embed images or tables. In such cases, the attachments section continues to be the most suitable place to include supplementary content like images or tables, as these are not what each field in the form response requires.
Having said that, please note that our team is closely monitoring the updates to the Amended ESRS being developed by EFRAG. These updates may potentially restructure how we support ESRS in SRM, potentially shifting what each SRM question supports - from the level of a disclosure requirement / DR (eg. E1-1) to the level of datapoint / DP or set of DPs. This restructuring may help improve how attachments, workflows, reviews are managed, especially when they're tied to specific DPs rather than DRs.
