This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Hello. We understand the issue and I have created a ticket for Tech to look into this. We round to 2 decimal places when showing aggregated values in the MBE v3 report, but we should not be rounding prior to aggregation. This rounding before aggregation is causing an issue so we'll look to fix this.
In other areas of the platform we should be rounding to 4 decimal places before aggregation. Please let us know if you have identified any areas where this is not the case.
Client and third party assurance provided the following feedback due to inconsistent rounding causing emission total differences between the monthly data summary report and the market-based emissions inventory: "recommends to review and standardize the rounding criteria applied across all tabs to ensure consistency between source data and consolidated reports, especially in cases where emissions are small but not zero. Aligning decimal precision across systems (e.g., Envizi reports) will contribute to greater accuracy, completeness, transparency and traceability of the inventory."
Consistency around reporting is extremely important. Having reports that have 2 different values is extremely frustrating. The market based power report only reports 2 decimal places for total emissions while it's reported to 4 decimal places in others. The different rounding in different places causes different totals to be generated.
