Include Report ID in Downloaded CSV Files

Currently, every report generated in the platform is assigned a unique Report ID, which is useful for tracking and referencing. However, when downloading the corresponding CSV file, this Report ID is not included in the file itself. As a result, it becomes difficult to trace a specific CSV file back to its original report, especially when handling multiple reports or sharing files externally. Please consider including the Report ID as a column in the downloaded CSV files or embedding it in the file name. This would significantly improve traceability and data governance.

    Hi @Guest

    When you run a report from Envizi, rather than downloading the csv, you can select "Create report and e-mail it now" from the "Select Output Type:" option at the top of the reporting run screen.

    When this occurs, you will receive an emailed report that is already named with the job id relating to the report.

    When a report is directly displayed on screen and downloaded, it is not processed through a job and as a result, it is not assigned a job number to use in the filename.


    I can follow up with our development team on the possibility of including an additional identiifier in report names that are downloaded.
