Enhancement to distinguish and manage Framework ownership in the Shared SRM Framework Library - Priority: High #13

Currently, the Framework Library in SRM is shared across all ADNOC Group Companies (GCs) and HQ users. All system admins—whether at HQ or a GC—can create and delete frameworks, and these appear in the common library. There is no built-in functionality to indicate ownership, track versions, or filter frameworks by entity. This creates confusion when multiple GCs contribute to the same library, especially that ADNOC HQ has their own Custom Frameworks, making it hard to distinguish which framework belongs to which entity. The current workaround is to add entity names in framework titles (“ADNOC HQ – GRI Framework”), but this is manual and and not long-term friendly option by the client.

After careful consideration, we’re not planning to take this up as an enhancement at this time. Introducing ownership based on user groups would entail layers of complexity around security, access control, and workflow management. Currently, custom frameworks remain associate-owned, similar to how managed frameworks are Envizi-owned.

We do recognize that distinguishing between frameworks can be manual, but clear naming conventions already provide a practical way to manage this. To support usability, we’ve also implemented a small improvement by sorting frameworks alphabetically to make navigation easier.

We really appreciate your input and will continue to look for ways to improve the experience while balancing complexity and impact.
