Changing status based on @Travis Bohne 's comment above
As discussed previously the multivariate forecasting capability exists within the Envizi PA add-on:
https://www.ibm.com/products/envizi/sustainability-planning
This function can incorporate exogenous variables like temperature data to determine a an emissions or activity/consumption forecast.
Hi Peter; we are actively looking into incorporating this as a Q3 feature for the Planning Analytics (PA) add-on. The PA add-on has an Ai assisted Multivariate forecasting function that can incorporate weather values into a forecast model. You would also be able to do this manually or via other calculation methods if you so choose.
I am working adapting the Envizi weather data into a data model resource for planning analytics to utilize, targeted for a Q3 release. Planning Analytics can also incorporate other outside sources of data into its model as well.
I can see we will be meeting today to discuss the Add-On module so i will provide more details for you at that time.
Hi Peter -- I can understand why this would be useful information when modelling the targets for an organization. We intend to extend our Planning Analytics use-cases to cater for programs, targets and forecasting (forward looking). @Travis Bohne can you please own this idea and provide more insights into future plans.
