This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you again for raising this idea.
The existing grids were designed like this to allow multiple filters to be applied while selecting rows. We understand that this experience may be confusing in some scenarios and we will be addressing this as part of a new user experience. In the new experience, filtering for grids will be provided in a separate filter panel and any excluded rows will be unselected before any actions are applied.
This new experience is currently in testing and will be released for public preview starting early 2026, initially for the accounts grid, and later for locations and groups.
Apologies for needing to move this ticket back to In Review. After further clarification, it appears this behaviour is by design to support applying multiple filter criteria to rows in a grid. We will need to review this further to see if any changes can be made in the current grids and will update the ticket accordingly.
Thank you for confirming. A support ticket has been created for this issue.
Thank you for raising this ticket. We have identified this as a defect and so kindly ask that you raise this via our support channel and ask that it be escalated.
Please also advise if there is a specific grid where you're experiencing this issue. We are currently investigating a fix for this on our paginated grids but will check whether the same can be applied on standard grids.
