Ability to categorise Meter Data under Scope 3

Currently, Envizi does not allow the Scope 3 categorisation of meter data. For example, Water Data if sourced via a meter cannot be captured as Scope 3 Cat 1 - Purchased Goods and Services, but it can be if captured via an account. This prevents the preferred use of data collection via an automatic fed meter, rather than a manual upload account. It would be very useful for Scope 3 reporting if Envizi created this function.

    Hi Amy,

    We now have a way do do this in Envizi using Virtual accounts: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/envizi-esg-suite?topic=administering-setting-up-virtual-accounts

    steps:

    • Create a Virtual accounts rule

    • Create a new scope 3 account and setup virtual account.

    I will send you a seperate email with steps and relevant screenshots as an example.
