Thank you for raising this idea. We are planning to address this requirement and although have not yet committed to a release quarter, we hope to have a solution in 1H 2026.
The proposed solution will involve a settings page for account style alerts that will allow clients to specify whether alerts of a certain severity level require comments before saving. E.g., you may specify a comment is only required for high severity alerts.
On the data capture form, we expect to provide a new field for comments which would be stored as a Note against the account record. We will update this ticket once this work is committed on the roadmap.
