Enhanced User & Data Access Management

  • Currently, users in Envizi within the same account or organizational group can access reports and datasets beyond their responsibilities. For example, a user tasked with uploading electricity data may still see HR or other sensitive information. This lack of granular access control creates a risk of unintentional exposure of sensitive data, which is a major concern for large enterprises managing multiple teams and business units.

We request the development of an Enhanced User & Data Access Management capability in Envizi that would allow:

  • Granular report and data visibility: Users only see reports and datasets relevant to their role, even within the same account or organizational group.

  • Role-based access control enhancements: More flexible roles and access levels tailored to enterprise needs.

  • Tagging and data segmentation: Ability to assign tags to datasets and reports to enforce visibility rules.

Custom report libraries: Creation of report libraries with controlled access per user group to simplify management while maintaining data security. The idea would be that people who have an administrator role could decide which reports the rest of the users can see in a personalized way, or be able to create groupings of reports for different types of users.
