This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Could the additional details be uploaded to the account as an attachment or add hyperlink support within the description that can point to a corporate repository with all the deails. Bonus points if the hyperlink can be made active in power BI reports when displayed on screen or exported!
Thanks for your idea. Can you provide more detail on the use case? Can you give examples of fields defined in the account style that could require more than 2000 characters?
I would also be interested to know how this data is used once captured in an account? What is the data flow from that point onwards for your reporting?
Thanks
Steve
It would be important for the connector itself to automatically truncate any text field exceeding 2,000 characters (using a substring function) so that a single long field does not prevent the entire connector from loading successfully.
