New Power Report ability - standardise the units

I think the new ability to access power reports in the SRM is great. The only issue I have noticed at the moment is that the units are not standardised. So when I see a total it is just a sum of various different units - so for example for energy, scope 1 will be measured in L, and scope 3 could be measured in kwh. So if I had 12000L of fuel in scope 1 and 204000kWh in Scope 3, it would give me the total as 216000. I know you can edit yourself but it could be confusing for those who don't know how to do that.

I also think it would be great to have consumption in standardised or selectable units. For instance, kWh, GJ, mWh

    Hi Emily,

All tables which have a standard unit (Emissions, Cost, Energy, Mass, Volume, Distance and Area) are already normalized to a standard unit.

These are selectable through the Admin > Organization Preferences > Reporting and Dashboard Preferences menu under the Optionally set the default units of measure section.

Once these have been changed, a system administrator can initiate a dataset refresh through PowerReports, or wait for the daily refresh to complete, and all data will be updated.

The only exception is the "Native Units" table, which typically contains all accounts across all data types, as such the units of measure there are not able to be directly standardized.
