Custom factor management improvement

When account is created based on DEFRA but one wants to modify eg. energy content to match national figures or so, one needs to fill all the relevant data emissions etc on the custom factor created.  I would suggest the "Create new"-view would show what are the original figures for the data type (e.g. DERFA based diesel - average biofuel blend). This would enable easier updating of one factor and keeping rest the same by copying the original values. Another option could be just keeping the untouched factors default and only the factor (e.g. energy per unit) that was edited would be updated, so emissions would calculate according to the managed factors and the edited factor would only apply the edited part.

This could reduce at least a little "emissions not showing" problems from customers.

    Hello,

Thanks for your idea. The difficulty here is that when creating a custom factor we don't know which elements of the factor should be retained, deleted or updated. I like the idea you have around 'copying' a factor and then the user can delete, replace or retain each value, but even in this example the user would need to select that factor from a list of factors since accounts can potentially have access to hundreds of factors.

We will keep this open as future consideration.

    thanks
