This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Our intent long-term is to find a better location for this pill. Below is a workaround to hide privacy policy pill button via custom CSS. Please note that there are laws in California that require this information to be presented to the user, so please weigh the risk of implementing this work-around accordingly for your organization.
1. Go to Admin panel.
2. Open configuration from side nav panel.
3. Find "User interface customization" and click on it. Documentation for this capability can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/masv-and-l/cd?topic=interface-updating-user
4. Select "CSS customization" tab.
5. Apply the following CSS:
.dbdm--ypc-pill-container {
display: none;
}
6. Save and publish the custom CSS.
7. Log out and log back in.
8. Verify the privacy policy pill button will not appear.
Thank you for adding this idea. It is critical for us at UCSF as well for this feature to be a one time click and be removed once selection is made. It is currently hindering Maximo record save or submit buttons.
Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.Our team has reviewed this enhancement request and determined that it is a candidate for inclusion in the product.
The privacy choices option should ideally be contained within the header menu area, rather than an overlay within the UI at any time. We will investigate the feasibility of this.
If you would like to be involved in other Maximo enhancements, please email smithjor@us.ibm.com to become part of our sponsored user group, which is a program where you and people in your organization become active participants in the Maximo design process, working alongside our design teams to help us create great future experiences for real target users.
I agree with changing the functionality of the YPC.
Perhaps there can be a one time request about privacy choice when a user first logs in, then is saved to their profile with the ability for the user to toggle it in the future.
BART has similar issue when click either check or x on the box showing a https://www.ibm.com/us-en/privacy/ccpa page. We have over 3000 users will experience this issue when we move MAS to production.
We strongly recommend to push this idea.
Ideally once an individual has made some sort of acknowledgement about their privacy choices this pill button would be removed permanently or minimally until the user clears their browser cache.
This is a needed feature as YPC pill hides maximo content behind it
