My colleague have provided more details. The requirement is significant important. The client "Guangzhou Chimelong" is the largest Theme Part in China. Chimelong is implementing Phase 1 project for Maximo manage. IBM is engaging Phase 2 Maximo opportunity. Thanks.
A client has requested that Maximo enhance its end-to-end observability and user behavior analytics capabilities beyond existing backend performance monitoring. In addition to monitoring system performance, API calls, response times, and errors, the customer would also like to analyze actual user behavior, such as page views, link and button click frequency, feature usage, and user navigation paths.
By correlating frontend user interactions with backend call traces, administrators can gain a comprehensive understanding of system health and user usage patterns, identify frequently used features, inefficient workflows, and potential user experience issues, and use these insights to optimize system performance, improve features, and streamline business processes.
Manage supports OpenTelemetry; however, it is currently not enabled due to defect DT458039, which is currently being addressed. In addition, the existing implementation provides limited functionality, whereas the proposal captured in this idea has a significantly broader scope and set of requirements.
I have reached out to Yong to discuss the requirements in more detail and better understand the overlap and gaps between the current implementation and the proposed solution.
