Document Connector from CDE Solutions to TRIRIGA/MREF

A Document Connector (Utility / Interface) in IBM TRIRIGA to facilitate the transfer/upload of Documents in Bulk from an External Common Data Environment (CDE) tools (such as Aconex, Procore, ACC, Trimble View Point, Dalux etc) into TRIRIGA.


This will be greatly useful for operational teams when a newly constructed Building etc is handed over by the Project team and typically they have to upload thousands of handover documents in to TRIRIGA and then associate these documents against possible thousdands of TRIRIGA Records (Assets, Buildings, Floors, spaces etc). The key criteria is 'Ease of Use' for the end user.

    Hello Gopi (et al) Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Your request is now a candidate for a future generally available (GA) release.  Our aim is to deliver within the next 12-18 months. Thank you again for your feedback.

    We are going through technical design for the Document Manager service for externalisation of documents to S3 - we believe that this may meet your requirements to allow external products or services to call the APIs that we expect to be available as part of this service. It will still be a single document per API however can be called by any external adapter to process each one. We will not be responsible for the adapters themselves unless there is a high demand for particular ones and those are raised as Ideas and accepted.
