This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for you idea Narayanan. Abishek and I have been evaluating this and we have reached a conclusion:
1. Starting in Maximo Real Estate and Facilities (MREF) 9.1, you cannot log in as the system user by default
2. It is a convoluted process to get this enabled and we don't document how to do this
3. We do not want users using the system user in MREF
4. When you install MREF we do however forced a named user of facilitiesadmin for the installation
5. You can make this a temporary user. After installation, you can log in to MREF and create an alternative user with whatever name you require and give them the same security groups, portal, left hand navigation menu etc. Then go into MAS core and either disable or delete facilitiesadmin.
So we believe we have addressed this in MREF.
Many thanks, Andy and Abishek
