Automatically update start time for same-day reservations

This improvement enhances the booking experience by automatically setting the “Start Time” field to the current time when users make same-day reservations.

Currently, users must manually adjust the start time, which adds unnecessary steps and increases the risk of incorrect bookings, especially when making quick or last-minute reservations. This can lead to inconsistencies between actual usage and the system record.

This feature would benefit all users making same-day bookings, particularly employees in dynamic or hybrid work environments who need to reserve spaces in real time with minimal effort.

The solution should dynamically pre-fill the "Start Time" field with the current system time when the reservation date is the same as the booking date. The value should update automatically at the moment of interaction, while still allowing users to modify it if needed.

    Good morning Samantha,

    I don't see the behaviour your are talking about here. I have tried a couple of minutes ago and as you can see the start time it is at 09:00 am. Should this be adjusted to the nearest 15 min mark? Am I getting something wrong?

    Hello Miriam, Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Your idea is already included in our product. When users create a same day reservations the start time is populated to the nearest 15 minute mark. Thank you again for your feedback.
