Expand Scoring Group - Revisions

Need

Understanding the impact of Scoring Groups changes have on Asset Condition and Custom Scores when where there are Revisions made.

A Reliability Engineer may make a revision to the Scoring Group. (ex. Changed query, scoring contributors, or weights) Or - a revision may have been made to the scoring groups related Manage App Query.

These changes can have a significant impact on the scoring results. However - if you view the score of an asset over time and see a change - you don't know if the score change came from the behavior of the asset - or the change in the scoring group.

This request is to add Scoring Group revisions so the Reliability Engineer can track any changes made to the scoring group. The revision behavior would be similar to Manage's Job Plan revisions - which is available today.

Potential Use cases

  1. An Engineer and see if the revision and what revision was made in time on the

    1. Asset Details page - Current Historical Health score chart card

    2. Asset Details page - Asset Timeline chart

    3. Hovering over a revision icon shows what revisions were made and date time. OR links to revisions tab on scoring group.

    4. Asset Scoring Group has revisions tab that shows which revision was made on which date.

  2. Revisions include changes to:

    1. Health Score Contributor

    2. Health Score Contributor Weight

    3. Health Score Group ( Asset was moved into or out of an Asset Group resulting in how Health Score is calculated

@Guest Thank you for taking the time to provide the suggestion. This request makes a lot of sense. There is another concept related to this regarding Data Integrity and Reliability that we have an Epic and are exploring. I wonder if this is another place we could reflect this change impact. IE data readings being used to calculate Asset health risk and criticality were based on Meter readings or Inspections that are now 3 years old. OR based on a asset query or scoring group that was recently changed. Thoughts? Or do you think it is better to keep these concepts separated?

I also have some additional question below on the use case and needs. Please answer or if you are open to a 30 min call we could meet to discuss. My email is carlos.ferreira1@ibm.com or I will be at Maximo World this Aug 2024 and we can meet in person there.
