hi Bilal, thanks for your idea submission! It took me a while to responde because we were doing some research on the implications around the functionalities involved. Where a customer wants to apply the same isolation for two or more permit records, we recommend the use of a separate Isolation Certificate which is designed to support this use case. If the isolation is managed using this process and the Isolation Certificate is related to both permits then a permit can be closed while the isolation remains in place for the other permit. There is a a setting in Organizations (HSE)/(Oil) which can also be used to allow closure of a permit without verification of isolation removal.
