While these requests would certainly improve specific areas of the older Maximo applications, there is a larger effort in IBM to modernize Maximo's user experience through our Role Based applications available in MAS. However, these enhancements are unlikely to be back-ported to older areas of the UI.

Hello Jordan, I have seen the status "Future consideration" which is not what we did expect. In complement, just take in consideration that "Go To Item Master" from Drilldown works well to see info about item (including Item Assembly Structure of Item) but at same time there is no easy way to came back to Drilldown and user must type all info each time. Do you suggest me to open another enhancement request? Or you could reconsider it in this request? Thanks!

It could be very useful to have many additionnal levels but from a practical point of view, IBM could limit levels to 4 for most cases. Example for 4 levels:
Level 1 : Part / Function of asset (ex. motor (looks like item) / mororization (looks more like a function much larger than motor)
Level 2 : Item (ex. pump)
Level 3 : Repair kit (which is a group of items sold as it by manufacturer) (ex. repair kit for pump)
Level 4 : O-Ring (which is also in the repair kit... but less costly when needed only without all the repair kit)
It could be very usefull to see this info in the drilldown. Actually we have 1 level in the drilldown. If we continue to item it is possible to see items below but at same time we lost the link with drilldown and this is not very user friendly.
Another thing wich is important to allow more levels is the use of more sub-assemblies by customers and more time efficient to construct their items structure.

Is this request specifically to support sub-assemblies (related child of Items)? Would there only be one additional level?
