Schedule Escalation and/or Cron Job to run for a specific number of hours only, rather than continuously running based on polling frequency.

Currently, any escalation or Cron job can be scheduled with a polling frequency, causing it to run continuously based on that frequency (e.g., every hour, minute, or second). However, we have a business scenario where we need the job to run only from 7 PM CST to 10 PM CST, meaning it should operate for just 3 hours. The frequency can be set to any interval within this 3-hour window.

    Would it be possible to simply allow the execution to run as is but qualify either of the following to control the execution?

    Field : Condition

    Table.Column : ESCALATION.CONDITION

    Field : Escalation Point Condition

    Table.Column : ESCREFPOINT.EVENTCONDITION

    It's an Escalation which is OOB module in Maximo Core.
    I used Calendar and created a shift with start time and end time. But that doesn't work.

    Our requirement is we want to run an Escalation only between 7 PM CST to 10 PM CST for 3 hours.
    I can't schedule my polling frequency for these 3 hours only.

    Can you provide some specific examples of the kinds of jobs and the expected behavior? Its not clear what is being asked for.
