Add ability to push a WO through to completion for small tasks completed at site

I would like to ability to complete small tasks in Maximo that were done on site to fix an issue. These are infrequent tasks that are simple jobs to complete. The current system requires approvals because the work needs to be scheduled but these tasks have been completed and just need a time allocation and possible a parts item loaded to it. It would assist in the correct recording of small jobs that often get overlooked.

    Hi,

    Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product strategy and roadmap. Therefore, we will not be considering it for inclusion in our product at this time. Thank you again for your feedback.

    Thank you for the request. This sounds like what the QuickReporting application is intended to handle. Is this request specific to having this capability in the mobile application? If not, I would ask for access to quick reporting which will create a new wo in an INPROG status - not requiring an approval before creating actuals.
