Disable/Hide "Take a Tour" button on Start Center Header or Option to configure this for own Training Materials.

There should be an Option to Disable/Hide "Take a Tour" button on Start Center Header

or an option to configure this for own Training Materials, like short videos or Handcards.

This option is not available in MAS 8.11.13 with Manage 8.7.10. I agree, that without a version noted, the status of "Delivered" is a bit misleading. 26 Jun 2024 is the date you posted Mr. Smith, MAS 8.11.13 was released 2 Aug 2024.

    Hello Prasad,

Sure! You can navigate from the Suite Administration page to the "Configuration" section, and click on "Guided tours".

This is a great idea. We'd like to expose the button in our training environment but hide it in our production environment. It would be nice if the mxe.tour.enabled system property in Manage controlled the MAS tour button in Manage. Perhaps this could be added as a first step while working on a bigger enhancement to allow the attachment of custom training materials.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. We truly value our relationship with you and appreciate your willingness to share details about your experience, your recommendations, and ideas.

I am pleased to inform you that our team has evaluated the request and has determined that it is a good candidate for implementation, but no firm release target has been set. Updates on progress will be posted to this Idea.

If you would like to be involved in the features of these new applications, or other Maximo modernization efforts at IBM, please email smithjor@us.ibm.com to become part of our sponsored user group, which is a program where you and people in your organization become active participants in the Maximo design process, working alongside our design teams to help us create great future experiences for real target users.
