Provide ability to search for and see count history for specific rotating items in Count Books.

With Count Books being the application designed to provide proof that rotating items are counted the warehouse needs the ability to see the history of when specific rotating items were counted. This will provide one more step needed to help the warehouse manage a cycle count schedule for rotating items.

    Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your ideas to IBM. Unfortunately, after evaluating this idea, we don’t believe it aligns with our product strategy and roadmap. Therefore, we will not be considering it for inclusion in our product at this time. Thank you again for your feedback.

Thank you again for submitting and voting on the Idea. We have considered the request but will not be focusing on enabling physical count attributes for Rotating Items on a per asset basis in the next release of Maximo. Please resubmit the idea for consideration of the subsequent version if it still is a desired enhancement. If you choose to do so, please consider providing the following information - on what record would the information of cycle count dates / confirmations would be best to appear (e.g. Asset record, Inventory balance record?), would it need to be on a per asset basis, per BIN basis or per Rotating item basis?

See related MASM-I-1038 which was denied. It is important to document that rotating items were counted. Many warehouses have this requirement. I get that reconcile balances should not be allowed but it would be great to show the physical count date.
