MAS Manage - BIRT Report with multi page output should come in single sheet on xlsx file

As part of the BIRT Export Report functionality in Maximo, on selecting the Report format as xlsx the data is splitting into different tabs on the excel sheet based on the number of pages of the Report.

The Requirement from the Client is to have all the data in the same sheet. Could you please do the needful.

Steps to replicate the scenario is as follows -

1. Login to Mas Manage and open Labor or any application

2. Click on the Run Reports on the List Tab

3. Select the Labor Qualification Report

4. Select the Status as ACTIVE and click on Submit button

5. Once the Report opens on the new tab, click on Export Report option

6. Select the Export Format as XLSX type

7. Click on OK button

8. The Report gets download and the data shall split into different tabs on the excel.

9. Requirement is to have all the records in the same tab.

    Replying to this as it may help the original requestor comply with end-user requirements.

    This is a workaround / BIRT feature and not a MAS feature.

    In BIRT report designer you can disable the page-break in the Table, so when it emits to XLSX the data is consolidated to a single page. 

    • Step 1 - Open BIRT + In the outline "Table" node that is breaking over multiple pages.
    • Step 2 - Under the Table-properties, page break, set Page Break Interval = 0

    There are also sample codes to run through all tables and disable page breaks for specific output emitters.  For example in PDF you do want to set the page break but in xlsx you want to suppress it:
