IBM Maximo Connector for SAP needs to support Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

This is a must have requirement for our Maximo customers. IBM Maximo Connector for SAP needs to support Cloud Platform Integration (CPI). CPI is SAP’s cloud-based middleware that allows integration between cloud and on-premise applications with third-party SAP and non-SAP products. It is an open PAAS (Platform-as-a-service). CPI provides Process Orchestration and Data Integration. CPI replaces the existing offerings of SAP PI / PO . CPI provides iflows, prepackaged content and connectors.  CPI also provides development tools for developing custom iflows and connectors.  SAP Integration Flow (iflow) is an automated workflow that synchronizes data. SAP Assessment and Migration Tool is a tool released by SAP in January 2023 to support migration projects. It allows users to migrate SAP PI /PO IFlows and ICos to Integration Flows in CPI. You need to use SAP Cloud Integration if you are using or planning to use, any of SAPs line of business cloud applications. All SAP customers will need to complete Migration from older SAP PI ( 7.1 – 7.4) to keep the support.  They will need to Migrate to 7.5, then Migrate from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI.
