I was wondering if there is a way to know which URLs will be needed for an update of OpenShift ibm-operator-catalog when upgrading MAS/Manage before I try and run the CLI update process. To connect to the IBM repositories.
What is happening the last couple of upgrades is we run the CLI processes to upgrade or install a MAS and Manage instance and there is a new URL to a new repo that OpenShift needs to access. However this new URL has not been whitelisted through our firewalls and proxy services. So once the upgrade fails I will reach out to our Cyber Security team to add the url. This happened when we went to MAS 8.10 and then again when we went to MAS 8.11.
I found this URL but it does not contain the 8.10 and 8.11 new urls.

Maybe a better place for this information would be here for the specific version:
https://ibm-mas.github.io/cli/catalogs/v8-240528-amd64/#whats-new
For example:
icr.io...
cp.icr.io....
registry.redhat.io...
quay.io....
gcr.io....
ghcr.io....
pkg-containers.githubusercontent.com
swc.saas.ibm.com
docker.io
It would just be nice to know which new URLs will be needed before we run any CLI processes. If they can be added to the documentation so we can have our Cyber Security Team whitelist these new URLs.

Hi Andrew,
I see the updates to the IBM website with the new information. It looks good to me. I added a step for us to check that site before we run the CLI to install/update/upgrade any of our environments.
Thanks!
We have made some enhancements to our documentation in the areas you identified. Please let us know if you think we have addressed your request.
Hi Thanks for your feedback.
We are going to take a look at how we can improve how we provide this information for future updates.
There will always be some limitation as we cannot predict changes in content that is outside of IBM's control.
