Disable or customize & translate email send from MAS during user creation

When a user is created at MAS level there is email send which contains the User details and it says for password, reach out to Administrator. This message is quite confusing for the end users and doesn't provide a process as if how a user can login. Because of this the customer don't want to receive this email when a user is created in MAS.

So we would like to raise a RFE so that any one of below 2 is possible from product side.

1. Disable this email which gets send when a user is created at MAS level. We only want this email to be disabled and not other emails such as from Maximo Manage for Escalations, Workflow, Notifications, Report Scheduling etc.

2. If the first is not possible, a possibility to customize and translate the email that gets send from MAS so that changes can be made in it as per business need.

We would like this feature as the product should be designed in a way to also support non-English users as well.

    The earlier statement from Kim was inaccurate. The checkbox only controls whether the password will be included in the welcome email. It will not prevent MAS from sending the welcome email itself.

    Can this be backported to MAS 8.10 and also whether this email is having translation in different languages as not all users are English users.

    Thank you for your request - in testing this in an 8.11 environment there is clearly an indicator (checkbox) whether you want to send password by email. It appears that this would address your request.
