Warning on Job Plans and Work Order Tracking that Planned Labor has mixed references to both tasks and work order

When planning labor on a work order you should either plan against the work order by leaving the task field blank, or you should plan at the task level by always entering a task. Having a mix of the two on the same work order is still valid but more unusual, therefore a warning should be provided at a status change to indicate that you are using a mix. Using a mix would be something that might be expected from a more mature planning organisation, the warning is there to help those clients who are trying to improve their planning processes.

A System Property could be provided to indicate the status for the warning, this might not be a WOSTATUS internal status but a synonym. If this is left null, no warning is given. If there is a status, then at change of status a warning message is provided. Ideally rather than a System Property a new Organizations setting is provided at Site or Organization level as planning maturity can differ across an enterprise.

Thank you for your submission. At this time this is not something that will be addressed in the next several releases.
