This portal is to open public enhancement requests against the products and services belonging to IBM Sustainability Software. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Only customers or major IBM partners have access to MAS licenses, restricting the ability of smaller consultancies or individuals who want to have access to MAS.
IBM should provide a developer or trial license for MAS. Having a 2-month expiry date similar to the Openshift Developer license would be perfect. This will allow:
New users to learn MAS
Experienced consultant to practice installing/upgrading MAS without having to engage and present IBM with an existing sale opportunity. (Without experience upgrading MAS, there is no opportunity to talk about)
Third-party developers can build add-on solutions and integration with MAS
Partners working on a project can pre-install MAS while waiting for the license procurement/provision. When the license is delivered, they can replace the developer license with it to promote the installed environment to become a fully functional system.
Without access to MAS, the majority of the Maximo implementers out there at the moment do not have access to refresh their skills. This limits their ability to promote and bring the product to the market.

Thanks for raising the Idea and for all the interest. I'm marking this as Future Consideration because we can't commit to a timeline at present.
However we acknowledge the need and we are looking carefully at how we might address this requirement.
I agree ! This could be a game changer
I agree with Viet. Hope IBM acts on this
I agree with Viet.Great idea, for keeping upto date with latest MAS.
Prior familiarisation is key for a successful deployment and this should allow developers to be fully comfortable with the technology so a smooth Go-Live is achievable.
Great idea Viet. This would really help drive the competency of my teams at Aboitiz as well. We have an AppPoints license but ofcourse IT is hesitant to hand out license files to play around with OpenShift and MAS deployments which are not directly required for deployments.
